My name is Amy Daly! I am a transgirl from Los Angeles and more specifically from The South Bay. You know… the beach cities – Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach. That area! The nickname for my school was “The pot-smoking Beverly Hills by the sea” So you can just imagine what went on there! I miss those days sometimes! So little things to worry about… My growing up in the South Bay pretty much shaped how I am today. I love skateboarding, punk rock music & riot grrl, snowboarding and the beach. Some of my favorite bands are Death Cab for Cutie, Saves the Day, The Postal Service, Le Tigre and NOFX. That is just a couple of them of course! I love watching movies that make you think like ‘Donnie Darko’ and ‘Mullholland Drive’. I love love love love Italian food and culture. It is one of my dreams to visit Italy some day!
So it’s been about 6 going on 7 years since I started transition. It has been 6 of the hardest years of my life, but 6 of the BEST years at the same time! The whole experience has opened up my eyes to a whole new world. Everything has changed. It’s pretty crazy. For instance… I never even had the remotest interest in men. I loved girls A LOT! But now… when I see a really hot guy, I get all weird and have crazy feelings! I still do love the ladies though. I love ‘em tons! I consider myself a bisexual, but I tend to get even crazier over girls.
A few years after starting transition, I started getting more comfortable with my body and I started to take naughty photos and posting them up on the internet. The people I showed always loved them and this was a huge turn-on for me for some reason. It started to be really fun! I think it was at that point that I knew that I wanted to do porn. I was just really nervous and it took me some time to want to actually act on it. So then in December of 2008, I met this really cool guy named Buddy Wood at a little dive bar called the Palms in Los Angeles while I was flyering for a trans event named “Transgiving”. He had this pretty girl with him who I didn’t know at the time, but turned out to be one of my best friends, Hazel Tucker! So anyways… he became interested after he finally asked if I was actually a transsexual or not (guess he didn’t know) and he gave me his card.
